Invisalign Colorado Springs
In the past, the one trusted and proven method to straightening teeth was through the use of orthodontics. Metal braces are still an extremely popular way to straighten any smile as they are suitable for people of all ages and have shown to be highly effective. However, some people don’t like the look of traditional braces and the lifestyle changes that braces require. Invisalign is an excellent and almost invisible alternative.
If you’ve decided against braces in the past but want a straighter smile, consider using the Invisalign system to restore and revamp your smile into one that you love to show off. Crooked teeth, teeth with small gaps, and many other problems can be solved when using Invisalign. Come to Dr. Hall for a complimentary consultation for Invisalign in Colorado.
Straighten your smile with Invisalign
With Invisalign, there is no need to worry about the lifestyle changes and metal accessories that come along with traditional orthodontics. Instead, you are fitted with clear aligners which can be worn whenever and wherever! A series of custom-made aligners, manufactured from medical grade clear plastic, is created specifically for your teeth. Dr. Hall will plan out the movements your teeth need to make, and each aligner will work to gently and gradually shift your teeth to their new position. Invisalign aligners can be removed any time for cleaning, eating or other activities, but should be worn at least 22 hours each day. Approximately every two weeks you will put in a new aligner until your plan is complete. Your friends may not even notice you are straightening your teeth.
Benefits of Invisalign
Invisalign is the preferred treatment method of many of our patients because it boasts a range of benefits unique to this system. These benefits include:
- Discreet treatment – the clear aligners make teeth straightening as inconspicuous as possible, meaning patients can straighten their teeth no matter their age or lifestyle.
- Removable – having the opportunity to remove aligners to eat, drink and clean teeth makes the straightening process much more comfortable and potentially hygienic. There is no need to change eating or cleaning habits, patients can continue as normal
- Comfortable – the plastic aligners offer a much smoother experience compared to traditional metal braces. This means no poking wires or rubbing against cheeks and gums.
How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign is a straightening treatment that is a made up of a series of custom-made aligners. The aligners are made from medical grade clear plastic. Because the aligners are clear, they are virtually invisible and the treatment is very discreet. The aligners work by gently and gradually shifting your teeth into new positions that have been pre-planned by Dr Hall. Every two weeks, you’ll change your aligner until the treatment plan is complete.
Can I take my Invisalign aligners out?
It’s important that you wear your Invisalign aligners for at 22 hours each day. You may, however, remove them for cleaning and eating. Because the aligners are removable, you don’t have to change your eating or cleaning habits and you can continue with your routine as normal.
Is Invisalign comfortable?
Yes, Invisalign is a comfortable treatment. In fact, the treatment is generally a much smoother experience compared to traditional metal braces because there are no wires and brackets involved. This means that your gums and cheeks will remain free from discomfort and irritation while you straighten your teeth. Also, because the aligners are custom-made, they fit your teeth and mouth perfectly.
